As the temperatures tumble, it’s time once again for the “Keep Them Warm” sock, toque and mitt drive sponsored by the Humboldt Community Soup Kitchen. Vulnerable citizens in Humboldt are in need of warm clothing for the winter and the Soup Kitchen has started its collection of donations for the season. Any new mitts, gloves, toques, scarves or socks are welcome.

The donation run starts on Tuesday, November 1 and goes through until Tuesday , November 15 inclusive. Donations are accepted on Tuesdays only, between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm, and should be made to the Humboldt Community Soup Kitchen at its location in Westminster United Church, one block south of the Humboldt District Hospital on Highway 20. Access is through the back door of the church.
