It’s the last week to get your tickets for the Quill Lake Minor Hockey Association’s 50/50 draw. Tickets are $20 dollars each for a chance at 50 percent of the total pot that could work its way as high as $60,000. Quill Lake Minor Hockey supports home town players of all ages.

“Our slate of teams includes a U5 Learn to Play team with 7 members in that group,” says Quill Lake Minor Hockey President Alec Dyok. “We have a U7 team with a full squad of 14. Our U9 group is combined with Watson entered in the league. We have a full squad of 10 kids on our U11 team which plays out of the East Central Minor Hockey League. Our U13 and U15 groups are combined with Naicam, and they play out of the North League.”

Dyok says two of their U18 players are committed to the Muenster Flyers for a full slate of opportunities.

Dyok says the dollars raised from the 50/50 draw will go to funding a new score clock for the Quill Lake and to support day to day operations. The group is seeking a sponsor for the new clock.

To get your tickets, get in touch with Alec (306) 874-7554 and he’ll get your name on a ticket. You can also get in touch through the Quill Lake Minor Hockey and Alumni Facebook page. The draw happens on March 16, so don’t delay.
