The Saskatchewan RCMP has issued a province-wide Dangerous Person Alert after a homicide involving a firearm took place this morning in Melville.
Police believe that there are two suspects involved in the incident, but can't provide any descriptions of the individuals, their location or the direction of travel at this time.
The vehicle that may be involved has been abandoned on Highway 10 near Duff, SK.
They are advising motorists to not pick up hitchhikers and be extra cautious of someone asking for a ride and suspicious persons on their property. The public should remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police. Call 911 in emergencies.
The RCMP will provide further updates when they become available.
