A pair of local skaters cracked the WHL prospect draft held this May.
Humboldt's Kayd Ruedig got the nod in the 4th round from the Portland Winterhawks. The right hander played 31 games for the Humboldt 15U Broncos last season and produced 34 points with 15 goals during the campaign.
Goaltender Brady Holtvogt was selected by the Prince George Cougars in round 6. In his 23 games with Humboldt last season, Holtvogt notched a 3.03 Goals Against Average and an impressive .915 Save Percentage.
