On July 8th to the 12th Watrous held their very first kid's camp.
About 20 kids participated in a variety of activities throughout the week, including, crafts, planting, swimming and tye-dyeing.
Treyl Ernst, Emily Fossen, and Jeremy Wiebe were all camp leaders.
Because of the positive feedback from this year's camp, there is a plan to have another one next year as well.
The idea of such camp began with the Rec leader, Taya Tokarski, coming up with the idea and discussing with Ernst, Fossen, and Wiebe and eventually made it come to life.
