An 18-year-old woman who was struck by a vehicle on Highway 1 near the Manitoba Expressway in Moose Jaw on Thursday has succumbed to her injuries.

The woman was pronounced dead on Monday morning in a Regina hospital.

According to the Moose Jaw Police Service, the woman was working in the area when she was struck by her co-worker in a work vehicle at a low rate of speed and then trapped under the vehicle. 

She was taken to the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw before being transferred to Regina.

The Moose Jaw Police Service is continuing to investigate the incident in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
