World of Tea comes to Humboldt Gallery this weekend
The Humboldt and District Gallery will transform into a global tea room this weekend as part of a special Culture Days celebration. Visitors are invited to a free two-day tea party, offering a taste of teas and traditions from around the world. Hosted by the Humboldt Cultural Services Department in partnership with Prairie Gateway Settlement Services, the event will take place on Saturday, October 4th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring teas from England, Germany, India, and South Africa. On Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., guests can sample teas from Nepal, Korea, the Philippines, and a traditional Indigenous cedar tea. “There will also be music, dancing, crafts for the kids, and of course, amazing company,” said Jennifer Fitzpatrick, Director of the Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery. “It’s a celebration of culture, connection, and community.” The event is made possible through Culture Days funding and is open to everyone in the community. “No tickets are required, and all are welcome,” added Fitzpatrick. “Come sip, share, and experience the world—one cup at a time.”
