He and Bernie also enjoyed travelling, and for 12 years spent winters in Yuma, Arizona.  Due to failing health, on July 15, 2015, Jack became a resident of St. Mary’s Villa until his passing.  Jack will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of nearly 53 years, Bernie (nee Zerff) Earis; their two children and eight grandchildren:  Trent (Bev) Earis and family, Evan (Ashley) Earis, Dylan Earis, and Carson Earis; and Sherry (Jeff) Kloth and family, Robert (Kristen) Nelson, Kari (Scott) Kemp, Brent Nelson, Crissy (Matthew) King, and Lee Kloth (Shekinah LaRose); four great-grandchildren:  Teolin Nelson, Nicolas King, Payton King, and Keyanna Kloth; two brothers:  Fred (Cherrill) Earis, and Robert (Carol) Earis;  mother-in-law, Evelyn (nee Freistadt) Zerff; sisters-in-law:  Karen (James) Fleischhacker, and Aldean (Ken) Brooks; and by numerous cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by his parents, Fredrick Sr. and Rosella (nee Evers) Earis; and brother, Norman Earis.  The Funeral Service was held at Westminster United Church, Humboldt, on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Rev.
