Kayleen Hage
January 28, 1996 – January 3, 2016

It is with very saddened hearts the family announces the sudden and unexpected death of Kayleen Donna Hage, 19 years, of Lanigan on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Lanigan Hospital.  Kayleen was born on January 28, 1996 to Don and Donna (nee Harding) Hage in Saskatoon. She obtained all of her education at Lanigan.  Kayleen was a loving and caring child and adult.  She loved family gatherings and especially hanging out with her nanna, pappa, grama and grandpa.  Kayleen was a very good role model for her younger sister Kelsey, always approaching challenges as a team.  Summer time was her favourite when she would spend her time at Barrier Lake with family and friends.  She enjoyed boating, tubing, fishing and quadding. Barrier Lake will not be same without Kayleen riding around with the lake on their golf cart.  Her best times were sitting around a campfire visiting.  For quiet time Kayleen could be found curled up in a corner reading, she loved to read. Next to family and friends, Kayleen had a faithful companion in her dog, Casey.  Kayleen was a very strong willed, determined young lady who wasn’t afraid to try new things.  Her care giving spirit was very evitable with her family, they all comment on how she was the “best little helper”.  Spending an evening watching a movie in her pyjamas snuggled on the couch with her sister and parents was her best place in the world.  When Kayleen got to choose the menu it would have to be pizza, her favourite meal.  Kayleen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her parents Don and Donna (nee Harding) Hage and sister Kelsey, all of Lanigan; paternal and maternal grandmothers: Frances Hage of Archerwill and Joyce Harding of Watrous; aunts and uncles: Bruce and Barb Hage of Archerwill, Brenda and Bob Kidney of Tisdale, Darcy Hage and Cathy Crowell of Naicam, Shelley and Roger Gerwing of Humboldt, Duane and Elaine Harding of Outlook, Brenda and Ken Galt of Regina, Ken and Donna Harding of Watrous and by numerous cousins. Kayleen was predeceased by her paternal and maternal grandfathers, Ernest Hage and Leonard Harding.  A Funeral Service was held on Saturday January 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from Knox United Church, Lanigan, officiated by Rev. Rolanda Taylor and Rev. Jack Robson. Memorial donations in Kayleen’s memory may be directed to Myontonic Dystrophy Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan or Lanigan Hospital Foundation
