The AA Midget Broncos will head into their 2017-18 campaign with a new coach.

Three year bench boss Chris Hamilton is resigning from the position to spend more time with his own children and their hockey.

He leaves an impressive resume, in three years he helped the team claim a provincial championship last season and a pair of Centre Four Hockey League titles as well. They lost just two games in regulation in the playoffs and provincials during his tenure.

In his first year the Broncos lost to the Saskatoon Riverkings in provincials but won the CFHL over the Beardy's Blackhawks. His second year they took the league championship again as well the provincial championship. This past season they came up short again against the Riverkings in the playoffs.
