A packed gym in Lake Lenore provided an outstanding atmosphere over two days, as the school held the 42nd Wade Weseen Invitational Senior Girls Basketball Tournament.
The Middle Lake Avengers claimed the crowd Saturday night, defeating the HCI Mohawks.
Middle Lake's path saw them get past the Kenaston Kodiaks in the semi-final, while the Mohawks held off a late surge from the host Lancers to stamp their own ticket.
Kenaston, who won the Mohawks tournament in December, claimed third place over Lake Lenore.
On the 'B' side, Foam Lake defeated Moose Jaw Cornerstone, while St. Walburg secured seventh place with a win over St. Brieux.
