The Bantam AA Broncos got a big win last night over the Northeast Wolfpack at the Drake Sportsplex.

The Broncos opened up the scoring just 45 seconds into the game with a power-play goal by Jackson Allan. After the Wolfpack tied it up at one, Broncos forward Matthew Porter restored the lead halfway through the first period to take a 2-1 advantage into the first intermission.

The Broncos came out strong in the second period scoring four goals. Bauer Dumanski scored twice while Matthew Porter & Jackson Allan each would add a tally for the Broncos and they would take a 6-3 lead into the third period.

In the third, the Wolfpack scored their fourth goal to get within two, but Ty Sundholm grabbed the momentum back with the Broncos seventh goal of the night just 35 seconds later. The Wolfpack tried to make a push and added two late goals, but the Broncos ended up hanging on for a 7-6 victory.

Dalton Wolfe earned the win in net for the Broncos.

The Broncos don’t play again until February 23 when they take on Estevan at EPA.
