The Bantam AA Broncos split a pair of home games this weekend.

Saturday, January 19th the Broncos were inside the Elgar Petersen Arena hosting the Warman Wildcats. The Broncos jumped out to an early 3-0 first-period lead to kick start a highly effective offensive night. Three more goals in the second period stretched the lead to 6-2, followed by another three in the final frame spurred the Broncos to a 9-3 home ice victory.

Tyler Lindal scored a hat trick and Luke Schlosser & Matthew Porter each scored a pair of goals. Bauer Dumanski & Castor Berziuk chipped in with singles. Dalton Wolfe had 20 saves in net for the win.

On Sunday, the Broncos welcomed the Swift Current Pure Chem Broncos inside the EPA. This time it was the road team that exploded offensively in the opening period, as Swift Current would take a 5-2 lead after 20 minutes. Swift Current picked up two more in the second to lead 7-3 heading into the third. The Broncos made a late push in the third period, scoring three to get within two goals but would end up falling to Swift Current 8-6.

Bauer Dumanski & McLaren Paulsen each scored a pair of goals with Ryland Martin & Tyler Lindal picking up the others. Both Trey Kincade and Dalton Wolfe saw action in the net with both allowing 4 goals. 

Next, for the Broncos, they travel to Melfort to take on the North East Wolfpack on Wednesday, January 23.
