The Humboldt Bantam AA Broncos continue their climb atop the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League's North Division.

Humboldt won both games at home on Saturday and Sunday to earn their third straight win. The wins moved them into a tie for fourth place in the division with the Saskatoon Generals.

On Saturday, the Broncos scored three goals in the first period en route to a 10-2 win over the Regina Aces.

Easton Ediger and Jackson Mark each scored two goals in the win, with Dawson Barlage, Austin Berezowski, Brody Mortensen, Kaiden Korolchuk, Connor McGrath and Luke Stadnyk recording the other tallies.

Korolchuk, Ediger and Nolan Allan each had four points, while Ashton Dagenais picked up the win in goal.

Sunday's game saw more offence for the Broncos, as they skated to a 6-1 win over the Saskatoon Stallions.

After a tight first period that saw Humboldt lead 1-0 on a goal by Stadnyk, the game opened up more in the second period, with the Broncos taking a 3-1 lead.

They would add three more goals in the third.

Tyler Lindal and Noah Barlage hit the scoresheet with goals, and Mark, Berezowski and Ediger scored the additional tallies for Humboldt.

Brody Ackland was in goal for Sunday's contest, earning the win.

The Broncos are now 16-5-2 on the season and are five points behind West Central for third, and seven points out of first place with eight regular season games remaining.

Humboldt visits the Stallions for a rematch on Thursday before hosting Prairie Storm and Regina Pat Blues on Saturday and Sunday.
