The Saskatchewan Hockey Association has named the top 43 2001 born players that will attend their SaskFirst Summer camp.

Humboldt's Logan Barlage, the recent fourth overall pick in the Western Hockey League bantam draft is among the forwards named to the camp roster. His teammates from this past year's AA Bantam Humboldt Broncos squad will join him, that being Englefeld's Cael Zimmerman and Blake Allan out of Davidson.

St. Brieux born netminder Tanner Martin will attend as will Aberdeen's Kyrell Sopotyk.

The SaskFirst High Performance Program begins every February with zone camps held across the province and are open to all players within the specific age divisions. From there, the top players are invited to take place in the SaskFirst Tournament held in April at which time the top players are chosen to attend the upcoming Summer camp and finally the top 26 attend the fall camps as the final step in the selection process.

Players who participate in the SaskFirst program have their on-ice abilities tested, but also undergo off-ice evaluation and interviews as well as fitness testing.
