A former assistant coach for the Humboldt Broncos will now stand behind the bench for the Melville Millionaires.

The Millionaires on Monday announced the hiring of Chris Beaudry as an assistant coach.

Beaudry takes over from Mark Chase, who left the club for a job with the Osoyoos Coyotes in the KIJHL, the team said in a news release.

Beaudry, from St. Front, Saskatchewan, spent last season with the Broncos. He has also worked with the Prince Albert Raiders and Mississauga Steelheads in the CHL.

In a Twitter post, Beaudry said: "I personally want to thank the Broncos for giving me the opportunity to work with an amazing group of people for the last year. It was a dream come true and I'll never forget it."
