Two runs was all the Wynyard Blues needed on Wednesday night, as they slipped past the Fishing Lake Mariners 2-0 in the Richardson Pioneer Men's Fastball League.

The Blues scored runs in the first and third innings en route to the victory. Mike Jordan picked up the win for Wynyard, with Brent Pitzel securing the game and earning a save.

Aaron Lindal and Drew Litwin both had a pair of hits for the Blues, whose next game will be June 4 at Foam Lake.

Thursday's schedule sees the Rosebud Royals play host to the Fishing Lake Cubs.
