Wadena hosted a doubleheader Tuesday night, as the Stoney Creek Braves battled the Wildcats and Rosebud Royals in the Richardson Pioneer Fastball League.

The Braves got off to a good start, defeating the Wildcats 13-5. Dusty Keshane earned the win for Stoney Creek.

A defensive game took over in the second game, as the Braves met the Royals.

Stoney Creek went up 2-1 in the first inning and led 3-2 after the second inning before pitching took over.

The Royals would cross the plate two more times to earn a 4-3 win.

James Holowaty went the distance for Rosebud to earn the win.

Wadena is holding its Ball Day on Saturday with games scheduled throughout the day. The RPFL will see Wadena battle Fishing Lake and Rosebud taking on Foam Lake.
