On Friday night in Yorkton the Broncos found their offence scoring four times but on this night they couldn't keep it out of their net as they fell 6-4 to the Terriers.

The loss was the green and gold's fifth straight, their record is now 5-10-3, leaving them in a tie for 8th in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League standings.

"It wasn't good enough, it really wasn't to be honest," Assistant Coach Brayden Klimosko steamed on the post-game show of KMK Sales Broncos' Hockey. "Yorkton wanted to win more than we did obviously, it felt like we won last game the way the guys played. You could tell we didn't have enough to win, it wasn't good enough."

Yorkton opened the scoring generating a 1-0 lead through 20 minutes on Regan Seiferling's point shot 3:16 in.

Humboldt showed their most jump of the contest from the start of the second, Logan Schatz was dragged down during a breakaway while the Broncos were on a four-on-three power-play. Instead of having an extended man advantage, referee Chris Shore offered a penalty shot to Schatz which he didn't score on.

During another power-play opportunity they would capitalize. Daniel Mckitrick tipped his fifth goal past Jakob Severson just past the five minute mark tying the game at 1-1. Mckitrick scored his second of the game just 43 seconds later. Schatz provided two assists, Corey Dambrauskas added the second assist on the first goal, Anthony Kapelke picked up the secondary point on the 2-1 marker.

Dambrauskas then slapped his second goal of the campaign past Severson giving Humboldt a 3-1 lead just 7:01 into the second period.

The Terriers would fire back, Brandon Sookro scored back to back goals to make it 3-3 with under four to play in the middle frame.

The Broncos would again take the lead, Wesley Shipton redirected his second of the year past Severson making it 4-3 Humboldt after 40 minutes. Greg Moro and Connor Swystun were credited with the assists.

The third period turned into a nightmare on this Halloween weekend. McKenzie Welke tied the game at 2:02 and Jordan Evans jumped on a Brett Clark miscue behind the Broncos' net at 17:46 for the game winner.

Sookro scored his hat trick goal into an empty Bronco cage with Clark on the bench for an extra attacker solidifying the two goal win to even the season series 1-1 between the two teams.

Klimosko continued to voice his frustration after the game.

"Honestly I don't lose it very often, you know who I am and for me to lose it, I've had enough. We're sick of it, that's the bottom line and that's very honest. That's the truth it's got to be better. If it isn't we will find people that are, it's not a threat, it's just the truth."

Clark finished with 32 stops on 36 shots, Severson made 19 saves in the win.

The Broncos did get the power-play going, they were 2/5 including just a nine second chance to end the game. Yorkton's top ranked power-play was 1/2.

Humboldt returns to the ice on Sunday when the Melville Millionaires visit the Elgar Petersen Arena. Puck drop is 3pm, the Broncos will host a Skate with the Broncos event after the game plus they will be signing autographs in the lobby after the game.
