Humboldt Broncos' defenseman Chase Felgueiras still has some eyes on him in terms of NHL scouts.

The NHL Central Scouting Midterm Rankings were released on January 21st and Felguiras lands in round 6 of North American skaters.

"Chase has been one of our d-men that plays a ton of minutes every night, all season long, and has matched up against the top performers of every club on a nightly basis. He's a big kid who is very mobile and skates so well, which makes his game look easy at times with his abilities to escape the opposition. We are proud as a coaching staff and organization to work with him on a daily basis and see the potential that he has the ability to achieve," said Head Coach Scott Barney.

Following Flin Flon's Vicent Nardone's departure from the list in their latest update, Felgueiras, the 18-year-old right-shot defenseman, is now the lone representative from the SJHL.

Felgueiras will get a chance to display his on-ice ability when he suits up for Team West in the CJHL Prospects Game on January 22nd in Okotoks, AB. The smooth skating defenseman is one again the lone representative from the SJHL and will look to put the tools that Scott Barney mentioned together, with plenty of scouts in attendance from the NHL, CHL, NCAA and Canadian universities/colleges.

Felgueiras has only missed one game all season for the Broncos and currently has 3G-12A-15 PTS in 43GP.

Team West is looking for their third straight victory at the CJHL Prospect Game.
