The Humboldt Broncos continued their pre-season schedule Wednesday night in Melville against the Millionaires and for the second straight contest they looked impressive.

A more midget-type roster took to the ice for the green and gold on Labour Day Monday in Kindersley, the young prospects put up an 8-0 win, the Klippers were reportedly even younger in age leading to the wide margin win.

It was a different look Wednesday night versus the Mils, both teams has numerous veterans in the line-up.

They also provided plenty of damage as well in their 4-2 win.

Chris Van Os-Shaw was set up twice in the first period by Trevor Posch as the Broncos took a 2-0 lead to the room after one.

Third year centreman Michael Korol put the visitors up 3-0 just three minutes into the second.

Melville would respond, prize acquisition Teal Sobkowicz buried a two-on-one rush to make it 3-1 before the middle stanza was through. Sobkowicz came over in a trade from the back-to-back league champion Melfort Mustangs.

Logan Schatz, also heading into his third full season as a 19 year-old made it 4-1 snapping a great shot over Mils' goaltender Brandon Wells.

Melville would score in the final minute to draw it closer with their goalie on the bench for an extra attacker.

20 year-old netminder Garrett Mason looked confident in his first career Bronco start, he stopped all 16 shots he faced. He was relieved just past the midway point of the game by Carter Seminuk, he was solid as well making 15/17 stops.

Their special teams showed positive as well, Schatz's goal came during their only man advantage and they killed all three minors they took.

Humboldt will travel to Melfort Friday night for their final road exhibition game, you can hear the game on 107.5 Bolt FM beginning with the pre-game show at 7:15, puck drop is 7:30.
