On Friday, the Lloydminster Bobcats and Humboldt Broncos revealed the two players coming back to the Broncos that will complete last December's trade for Greg Moro.

Humboldt receives the rights to the Nova Scotian born Morgan Messenger and Leduc product Graydon Smith. Both recently starred for the Bobcats in the RBC Cup final which they lost 4-0 to the West Kelowna Warriors.

Broncos' General Manager Darcy Haugan is pretty happy with the acquisitions.

"We're very excited about the two players we get back. I have seen Morgan play since he moved out west here with the Whitecourt Wolverines and I've been a big fan of him since then, that was one of the pieces we wanted to target."

The 1996 born centreman has played in 119 regular season Alberta Junior Hockey League games in the last two seasons collecting 36 goals and 5 assists, he also has 14 post season games under his belt including the national championship tournament.

The addition of Messenger gives the Broncos five bonafied junior "A" centremen, Haugan admits they are pretty deep down the middle.

"We sure are, I really feel like that's where you start building your hockey team. You look at where our hockey team was this time last year, with the departure of Gray Marr we really didn't know who our centres were going to be."

Smith is a defenceman also going into his final junior season. He brings almost 90 games of AJHL experience with him from the back end including a league championship last season with the Spruce Grove Saints. He had 17 points this year plus another five in 12 playoff games. More importantly, Smith was a main stay on the 1st power play unit with Lloyd in the national championship final.

"They are both winners," Haugan added. The year before he won an AJHL championship, they're both winners, they both know what it takes. We're trying to get our organization back there, it wasn't easy dealing Greg but we're very happy with what we we're able to get in return."

Graydon Smith's rights are now with the Broncos in the deal.
