The Broncos walked away with two wins after hosting the Weyburn Red Wings Friday and Saturday night.

They continued their winning streak Saturday, after beating the Red Wings 4-1 on Friday. Captain Logan Schatz scored his 21st goal of the season, only 70 seconds into the game. Two and a half minutes later Logan Hunter brought the score to 2-0 and did it again later in the game. Hunter's 19th season goal put the Broncos ahead by a three-point lead.

Weyburn's only goal was courtesy of Connor Pyne, bringing the score to 5-1. Morgan Gobeil scored his second of the year, and Hunter added to the Broncos lead once again.

Assisted by Hunter and Brayden Camrud, Connor Lukan scored his third point in the second period. Derek Patter also scored 40 minutes into the game and brought up the score to 5-0. The final score was 6-1 for the home team.

The weekend saw the team make their third straight win and they are 8-2 in their last ten games.  Following the game on Saturday, Hunter went on to score twice and win the Broncos annual shootout.

The green and gold look for a fourth straight win on Tuesday when they host the Notre Dame Hounds.
