Calico Gymnastics is opening their doors to your kids for a series of drop-in days.

From Tuesday to Thursday, those in preschool and up to 14 years of age are invited to participate in drop-in days for two hours per day.

The days are also to help celebrate gymnastics week, which took place February 7-13.

"Gymnastics week is a joint effort between Gymnastics Canada and all of it's members to increase the awareness of the sport and to celebrate gymnastics in all it's form," stated Calico Coach Miranda Lissel.

"It is dedicated to bring together thousands of Canadians of all ages who participate in gymnastics and to encourage all other Canadians to try the sport."

From 10:00am to 12:00pm, preschool to age 6 can take part in the days, with those age 7 to 14 invited to join Calico from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.

In addition to offering a trial with the club over the three day span, Lissel added that they will be holding a Gymathon on March 12.

The club is also busy fundraising for their new building, which they are closing in on a start date for construction.

Spring registration will also fall in line with the City of Humboldt's registration night March 10.
