Kaleb Dahlgren's fifth goal in seven games against the Notre Dame Hounds came with just over two minutes to play as the Broncos picked up a 3-2 win.

Humboldt trailed 2-0 heading into the third period before wiping out Notre Dame's lead in the front half of the final frame.

Jaxon Joseph's 27th goal of the season came on the powerplay at 6:32 to cut the lead in half. Two minutes later, Stephen Wack found the back of the net to tie the game.

Dahlgren's winner was his 10th goal of the season in a year where he has helped round out the Broncos forward unit, coming over in the offseason from Notre Dame via trade.

Parker Tobin drew the start in net for the Broncos, stopping 21 shots en route to his 11th win of the season.

Tobin has now won his last six starts for the Broncos, allowing just 10 goals over that stretch. For the season, the Stony Plain, Alberta product is 11-4-1 with a 2.15 goals-against-average and .925 save percentage.

Riding a four game winning streak, Humboldt has also gained room in the standings and is now 11 points clear of the survivor series.

The Broncos visit Nipawin on Friday for their next game, looking to snap the Hawks' lengthy 29 game point streak.
