The Horizon Central Athletic Association hosted Senior Golf Districts on Tuesday at LeRoy Leisureland.

Carson Horachek of Humboldt Collegiate Institute won the male competition, shooting a 77. He edged out Wynyard's Rylan Sokul by three strokes.

Taking third place was Connor McGrath of LeRoy.

In the female event, it was Kelvington's Mardy Scutchings claiming the district title. Jacelyn Kelly of Imperial and Jessie Froehlich from Wynyard placed second and third.

The top three finishers in each event qualified for provincials, which are in Estevan on September 22-23.

HCI's golf team finished third in the male competition, with Dylan Lindal placing sixth overall individually, and Jay Eichorst coming in a tie for 21st.

Morgan Atamanchuk was the school's lone female golfer and finished in fourth place.
