The Under-16 Humboldt Hurricanes are still the top dog in Saskatoon.

Competing in their second season of the Indoor Youth Soccer League in the Bridge City, the Hurricanes won their second straight championship on Sunday.

After finishing fourth overall in the regular season, the Hurricanes knocked off the top-seeded Lakewood Juventude in the semi-final on March 14.

That put them up against the second place Celtics in the final.

Humboldt was 0-1-1 against Aurora in the regular season, falling 5-2 and playing to a 2-2 draw.

The Hurricanes made good on their third crack at the Celtics to retain the league championship, winning 3-1.
