Muenster's Logan Hofmann has been named Sask Baseball's Player of the Year.

Hofmann, who starred on the Muenster Midget AA baseball team, participated on Provincial teams as well as in National Tournaments.

Hofmann reflects on getting called up by the Marysburg Royals earlier in the summer for their League Championship run.

"It was pretty fun. They just asked me that afternoon, and I wasn't really doing anything, was watching TV probably, and I said 'yeah, sure, I will come pitch a bit,' and I pitched 4 innings I think."

Hofmann describes the feeling of pitching at Rogers Centre in Toronto at the T-12 Tournament.

"It was really fun, especially going with Tyler (McWillie) and Brody (Frerichs) off our Muenster team. It was a really good experience. At first it was a little nerve-wracking pitching in front of a whole bunch of scouts and in that big of a stadium, it was pretty cool. By the end I was good and it was a pretty awesome experience."

Hofmann talks about his future as a Ball player.

"Coming back to Muenster, I'll graduate with all of my buddies from there. I really want to play college after High School, and hopefully continue on my Baseball career from there."
