Gavin Ingram scored with 1:31 left in overtime as the Midget AA Broncos completed a comeback win over the Saskatoon Icehawks on Sunday.

Ingram's goal came during the 3-on-3 extra session that was mostly controlled by Humboldt.

The Broncos were able to force the game to overtime after Dylan Lindal tied the game with just 18 seconds left in the third period.

Humboldt gave up the go-ahead goal with under four minutes to play, but made the most of an extra man situation after pulling goaltender Dawson Cochrane.

Saskatoon led 1-0 after the second period, with Wynyard's Austin Hilts getting the Broncos on the board early in the third period.

The game, played in LeRoy, was technically the home opener for the team after four games on the road. They won't play at the Elgar Petersen Arena until December 10, which is also their next home game.

It has been a relatively clean start to the season for the Bantam AA Broncos, who moved their record to 6-1-1 with a 7-4 win over Notre Dame.

Humboldt gave up the first goal of the game on the power play, but scored the next five goals to take control of the game through two periods.

The two sides exchanged a pair of goals in the final frame.

Kaden Kohle had a hat trick to move into the league lead in goals with 18. Maguire Scheidt, Connor McGrath, Nolan Allan and Griffen Helberg had the other tallies for Humboldt.

The Broncos are currently fifth in the North Division, though they do have several games in hand on the teams ahead of them.

The Peewee AA Broncos hit the road to Rosetown and Kindersley for two games against the West Central Wheat Kings.

In the first game on Saturday, the Broncos got behind 6-3 after the first period, eventually falling 9-7. The power play was a highlight in the game, with Humboldt converting on 6 of 10 opportunities.

Bauer Dumanski had three goals in the game, leading the way offensively. Brody Mortensen had two goals, with Spencer Bergermann and Castor Berezuik contributing the other goals.

On Sunday, in the second game, another tough period was the difference for Humboldt. This time it was the second period, where they were outscored 5-3 in a 7-5 loss.
