Conference playdowns for Senior High School Volleyball took place this past weekend.

The Muenster Girl's team traveled to Watson where they played well enough to move onto Regionals.

Joel Taphorn the head coach of the team was impressed with how the girls performed.

"They played really well, we ended up going undefeated in the three matches that we played."

Watson, Wadena, and St. Brieux were the other schools that attened to the tournament.

Taphorn alongside fellow coach Jewel Varga is very happy with the team they have.

"This group of girls are really a committed group. We practice two or three mornings a week and its usually fairly early before the sun comes up. They love their volleyball which it makes it a pleasure to come to the gym every morning."

Taphorn would also like to say thank-you to all the parents who take the time to drive their kids to and from practices and games.
