Two Humboldt Broncos players were named finalists for the SJHL's Players of the Week, announced on Monday.

Forward Jaxon Joseph is one of the hottest goal scorers in the league, with goals in five straight games. Over three games throughout the week, Joseph had four goals and two assists, helping the Broncos to a 2-0-1 record.

Meanwhile, Parker Tobin's two strong starts earned him the runner-up for goalie of the week.

Tobin allowed four goals over two games, making 48 saves along the way, as the Broncos picked up three out of four points in his starts.

The Stony Plain, Alberta product came over via trade from Spruce Grove at the December 1 roster deadline.

The Broncos are in Kindersley Tuesday night for their next game before a weekend home and home with Nipawin.
