The PeeWee AA Broncos travelled to Brandon, Manitoba on the weekend to take part in the Tournament of Champions.

They went 0-1-1 through the first three games of the tournament which placed them into the B-side semifinal game.

In the semi-final game, they were able to defeat the Minot Wolves 2-1 to punch their ticket to the finals in a meeting with the Estevan Bruins.

In the final game, the goalscoring was much higher, and the Broncos found themselves down 6-4 at the start of the third period. However, Kaleb Dewar buried one to get our momentum back, followed by the game-tying goal from Jase McNichol. Then Kayd Ruedig got the eventual game-winner 2 minutes left and Thomas Ries put one more in the empty net to seal the lead, as the Broncos completed the comeback to be crowned the B-side champions of the tournament.

Intense hard fought games made for a very exciting weekend to be a Bronco.
