Humboldt's AA Peewee baseball team picked up a tournament win on the Canada Day weekend.

Taking part in the Rosetown Angels tournament in Biggar, the Dodgers went 2-1 in the round robin, defeating Kindersley and Parkland, with a loss to Watrous.

In the semi-final, they downed the Angels to book their spot in the tournament final.

There, they had a re-match against Watrous, getting the better of the Lakers to win the tournament.

The Dodgers returned to the diamond in the Saskatoon AA league on Tuesday night, picking up a win over the Braves. Dylan Smith, Jack Biemans and Brody Mortensen pitched in the win.

They will head to Melville for another tournament, beginning on Friday.
