A nice night for ball as the Wadena Wildcats hosted the Fishing Lake Mariners. 

The Wildcats won 24-11 in 6 innings.

The fans got plenty of entertainment with lots of hits and stolen bases. Brady Linnen hit two home runs with Lucas Ochitwa and Dylon Murias also hitting round trippers for the Wildcats. 

Nathan Pomedli pitched 4 innings for the Wildcats with Koltin Paquachan closing out the last two.

At the RBC Cup in Lloydminster Thursday the round robin concluded with a pair of games. The Brooks Bandits edged Carleton Place 5-4 and the Trenton Golden Hawks ousted the host Bobcats 4-1.

Trenton locked up first, they will meet the Bobcats again in the 1 v 4 game, the Bandits face West Kelowna on semi-final Saturday. The winners move on to battle for the championship Sunday.
