The AAA Midget Muenster Red Sox spent the weekend in Regina taking on two teams in two days in two double headers.

Their result was three wins and a loss which mainitains their first place standing in the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League.

On Saturday afternoon they swept aside the Wolfpack with a 10-6 victory and a 12-1 romp. Logan Hofmann threw six innings getting the win, he allowed seven hits and one earned run. Jayden Huls led the way offensively going 3/5 with three runs batted in and a pair of runs scored.

Morgan Gobeil was credited with the win in the second game pitching six strong, he gave up one ER and struck out four. Shane Gerwing was 3/4 with a trio of RBI's and a run scored.

On Sunday, the day started well with a 5-1 win over the Athletics, Drew Bauml pitched an excellent game going the full seven innings giving up just four hits and a run. Hofmann had three RBI's.

The A's would salvage a split edging the Sox 6-5 in an extra inning handing Muenster just their second loss of the campaign to go with 13 wins.

The Sox next action is Wednesday in Saskatoon versus the Cubs, they also only have a pair of losses this season.
