This past weekend the Rosebud Royals of the Richardson Pioneers Mens Fastball league experienced their first out of country ball since the 90's.

From August 17th to 19th The Royals were taking part in The North American Fastball Association World Series in Fargo North Dakota. The tournament featured 37 teams from 17 different states and provinces. The Royals were made up of players from Wadena, SK, and one from Hudson Bay.

The Royals started the tournament with losses to teams from Kansas, Wisconsin and North Dakota. The team then defeated the Prince Albert Saskatchewan's Thunderbirds before losing to The Hagerstown A's from Maryland.

The World series completes one the most international years in their 48-year history for The Royals. Earlier this year the team hosted s doubleheader with The New Zealand Midgets in attendance.
