The Marysburg Royals continued to find offense Saturday afternoon at the Senior Men's AA Tier 1 Provincials in Saskatoon.

After a tighter 5-2 win Friday night in the tournament opener they put up double digits in a 10-5 win over the Regina Trappers.

Geoff Strueby led the way going 4/4 with a pair of doubles. For the second straight contest, their young pitching gave them a chance to win. Carter Frerichs threw five strong in the win, Thomes Lessmeister cleaned up the final two.

The Royals now advance to Sunday's semifinal at 12:30 against either the Saskatoon Outlaws or Diggers, they play Saturday night.

Also on the diamond, Saturday, a handful of Muenster AAA midget Red Sox and Team Saskatchewan played twice at the Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg. Logan Hofmann, Brody Frerichs, Jayden Huls, Rylan Marianchuk and Tyler McWillie are on the club that fell 7-2 to Quebec but responded with a 3-2 win over Alberta. They will take on British Columbia at 3 pm Sunday.
