After back to back losses to start the Tim Hortons Brier in Regina, Team Saskatchewan is rolling, having won their third straight game.

Steve Laycock's rink, which has St. Gregor's Kirk and Dallan Muyres playing second and lead, defeated Northern Ontario 8-4 in Tuesday's morning draw.

Team Sask got out to a good start, taking a 4-0 lead through two ends and eventually led 7-2 through five ends.

Brad Jacobs' team shook hands after scoring just one point in the eighth end.

The win moves Saskatchewan to a record of three wins and two losses, keeping them in position to advance to the championship pool.

With 16 teams in the field, the top four teams from each pool move on.

Next up is a meeting with Nunavut at 7:00pm on Tuesday. The round robin concludes on Wednesday when they take on Ontario.
