The 5th annual St. Brieux Crusader Classic senior boys basketball tournament took place this weekend with a familiar ending.

For the second straight year Saskatoon Legacy downed the hosts in the gold medal final taking the championship back to the Bridge City.

Legacy had a strong tournament scoring triple digits in all three games including a 120-76 victory in the title contest over St. Brieux. Prior to that they downed Birch Hills and Osler VCA.

The Crusaders defeated Ecole Canadienne 86-69 and Indian Head 102-69 before falling in the final.

The Humboldt Collegiate Institute Mohawks brought home the consolation side trophy, they started with a 70-58 loss to Birch Hills before rebounding with a 68-61 win over VCA. They rolled past Caronport 65-30 in the final.

In all eight teams competed in the tournament.
