The Midget AA Humboldt Broncos have fought all the way back in their opening playoff series against the Unity Lazers.

Damon Vanderlinde's shorthanded goal with 13 minutes remaining stood up as the winner, as Humboldt knocked off Unity 4-2 in Game 4 on Sunday.

The Broncos, who were down 2-0 in the series following losses of 4-1 and 5-1 in Games 1 and 2, defeated the Lazers 4-1 in Unity on Saturday before tying the series Sunday afternoon.

Humboldt got out to a 2-0 lead on goals from Kody Perlett and Precott Senger before the Lazers tied it up through two periods.

Dylan Lindal added an insurance marker with nine minutes to play.

The resurgent Broncos received another strong performance in goal from Dawson Cochrane, who turned aside 36 shots in the win.

Humboldt visits Unity on Tuesday in the series deciding game, looking to complete the comeback and advance to the next round.
