A second straight loss to the Melfort Mustangs will send the Broncos into the holiday Break on a three-game losing streak.

With five munites left in the first period, The Mustangs captain Carson Albrecht opened up the scoring for the second straight game.

The Broncos answered back just over two minutes later with Drew Warkentine's 10th of the year. The teams would head to the dressing room tied at one after one period of play.

The second period was eerily similar to the first game of the home and home, and a similar Mustang led the way.

League leader in goals and points Justin Ball scored his 36th and 37th of the year just 36 seconds apart. Nolan Kadachuk stretched the lead to 4-1 halfway through the middle frame.

In the third, the Broncos were able to get back within two with Michael Clarke's 19th of the year. However, the Mustangs would score two more and defeat the Broncos 6-2.

Melfort now leads the season series 3-0

The Broncos now have their holiday break at a much needed time to recover and refresh for the second half of the schedule. They will be back on the ice on January 2nd when they host the Notre Dame Hounds.
