Fresh off a two goal, two assist night versus his former team, Chris Van Os-Shaw took it to a new level Tuesday for the Broncos.

The 19 year-old Regina product scored the first four goals of the hockey game leading the Broncos to a dominating 7-1 victory over LaRonge for their fourth straight win.

His nine goals on the year are tied for the league lead with Flin Flon's Dondre Watson.

Also hitting the score sheet was Dawson Atamanchuk, the goal was his first career Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League marker. The 19 year-old Humboldt Minor Hockey alumni was beaming following the game.

"Being a kid, your whole life it's a dream to play for your hometown. It's a big honour to be able to wear that crest on your jersey in front of all your friends and family. It's something really special to be honest."

Trevor Posch added his sixth of the year, Kobe Scott tallied his second while the Broncos were short-handed.

Brayden Camrud finished with three assists. That gives the reigning SJHL rookie of the week nine points in seven games.

Atamanchuk added that aside from a night he will never forget, the team overall is cruising.

"Yeah absolutely, three games that we score that many goals(20), that's big. Two is a fluke, three is a statement kind of thing. Right now all lines are firing on all cylinders and you can't get better than that."

Connor Swystun picked up a pair of assists as the Broncos improved to 8-1 on the year. They have outscored their opponents 45-19.

Atamanchuk wasn't going to say they have exceeded their own expectations.

"We knew we had a special group going into the season when practices started going on, we had goals and we set some and now we're blowing them up. If we can keep this going it will be a lot of fun."

The Broncos power-play produced one goal in six chances, LaRonge's lone goal came during one of their five power-plays.

Garrett Mason was solid again for his sixth win in the Broncos' net, he stopped 20/21 shots. The Broncos chased another goalie, Josh Dechaine allowed 5 on 36 shots, Luke Lush stopped 9/11 in relief.

Next up is a big division showdown with Kindersley Friday at the Elgar Petersen Arena. Face-off is 7:30, visit www.humboldtbroncos.com or call 682-5575 for tickets.

She is a five year University of Saskatchewan Husky. She will return to the site of a provincial championship in her minor hockey days before moving onto the CIS.
