The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League named their weekly top player honours Monday including a couple Broncos being recognized.

19 year-old winger Chris Van Os-Shaw was named the Player of the Week, he scored a hat trick on Tuesday of last week in a 4-1 win over Yorkton. The Regina product chipped in with an assist on the green and gold's lone goal in a 3-1 loss to the Battlefords Friday but Van Os-Shaw helped the Broncos beat Melfort 5-2 with an assist and his SJHL best 24th goal Saturday. Van Os-Shaw is second overall in the scoring race behind Ben Duperreault of Notre Dame.

18 year-old centreman Brayden Camrud was named the runner-up for Rookie of the Week. After missing significant time with an upper body injury, Camrud is starting to routinely find the score sheet, he had a goal and two assists in the three Bronco games last week. Overall Camrud has two goals and 14 assists in 16 games, that is good enough for seventh in the scoring race for first year players.

Van Os-Shaw, Camrud and the rest of the Broncos are back in action Tuesday night when they host Kindersley, face-off is 7:30. The Broncos have won their last two and three of their prior four.
