The Mitchell Dales curling rink may not have been the top men's under-18 foursome at this past weekend's provincial championships but they will still represent the province at nationals.

The winners of the men's division was actually the Rylan Kleiter rink out of the Sutherland Curling Club in Saskatoon but due to a school schedule conflict they can't attend the Canadian championships in Edmonton.

The rink graciously turned over their green jackets to the Wadena based Dales rink who finished 4-3 including their final loss coming to the Kleiter team.

The bonspiel will take place from March 30th to April 3rd.

Tyler Camm from Allan also competed in the men's division in Regina at the Callie Curling Club.

St. Front's Ashley Thevenot participated in the women's U-18 category and Strasbourg's Jared Hammer entered into the open recreational division.

In all, 24 teams were involved.
