Wakaw's Linden Vey has signed a contract with the Calgary Flames.

The 25 year-old had four goals and 11 assists in 41 games with the Vancouver Canucks last year.

Overall he has played in 134 contests notching 14 goals and 30 helpers, he also suited up for the Los Angeles Kings in his rookie season.

Vey was drafted 98th overall in the 2009 National Hockey League entry draft while having a great junior career with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League.

His two-way deal is for one season.
