Humboldt's Tayden Wallin has completed an unbeaten run in his high school golf career.

Wallin was the top male golfer on Tuesday, as the Horizon Central Athletic Association held District Golf Championships in Wynyard.

The 17-year-old shot a 69 to finish seven strokes clear of second and HCI teammate Carson Horachek to win the tournament.

It was the fourth consecutive year that Wallin won the District Championship, winning his first as a Grade 9 student in 2013.

Finishing third and also qualifying for provincials was Austin Hilts of Wynyard who shot 82.

Dylan Lindal from Humboldt finished in 8th place.

In team play, Wynyard and HCI finished tied at 242, with Wynyard taking top spot on a playoff hole.

In the girls tournament, Kelvington's Sara Jestin took first place with a score of 113. Also qualifying for provincials was Brooke Gaudet of Bellevue and Bailey Locke from Kelvington.

HCI's Morgan Atamanchuk was 6th overall.

Provincials take place September 23 and 24 at Madge Lake, near Kamsack.
