For the second time this season, Humboldt Broncos goaltender Jacob Wassermann is being recognized as one of the league's players of the week.

Wassermann was named rookie of the week after a strong two games in goal.

In both starts, the 17-year-old combined to make 45 saves on 48 shots faced, with a win over Melville and a shootout loss to Battlefords.

For the season, Wassermann has an 8-3-1 record to go with a 2.39 goals-against-average and a .916 save percentage.

Wassermann was the league's goalie of the week for October 16-22.
