Around 1500 people gathered in Englefeld this weekend for the 45th annual Hogfest.

The 3 day event concludes Sunday with a pancake breakfast and the pig drop.

Richard Pomedli is a returning resident to the Hogfest, and this time he brought his family from Calgary.

He talks about his Hogfest experience.

"Seeing all of the old friends. It's been 10 years since I've been here so it's nice to catch up, play some ball and catch some sun."

Pomedli talks about coming home for Hogfest this year.

"We're having a great time here. I'm out from Calgary so it's nice to come back and see my all old friends and play in a ball tournament. It's a good time."

A total of 16 pigs were cooked for this years supper, which had people flocking from all over for a taste.
