On April 6th the first responders of Tisdale came to the aid of the victims of the Humboldt Broncos after the tragic bus crash on that fateful Friday night.

People from all over North America donated a total of $80, 000 to the first responders in the wake of the crash.

The fire chief of Tisdale, Brian Minhinnick, said he was overwhelmed from the support around the country and beyond.

"I would just love to sen a great big thank you all the support we've received from just your ordinary citizen that wanted to spend a few dollars to help us out."

The money was split between the fire department, RCMP, EMS, and the Hospital of Tisdale.

"For us, it's going to allow us to go over and above what we already have."

Donations were finalized last week.
