Darcy Haugan, late head coach of the Humboldt Broncos, was posthumously awarded the Willie O'Ree Community Hero Award. Haugan used the game of hockey as a tool to help shape young lives said his wife Christina Haugan who accepted the award on Haugan's behalf at the NHL awards in Las Vegas Wednesday evening.
